Vision
Vidya Knowledge Park Green Force is a community based project involving industry, conservation groups, natural resource agencies, and residents cooperating to encourage and facilitate the use of natural resource principles that promote ecosystem health and diversity.

Green Force aspires to turn around the current scenario of progressively depleted ecosystem, through community involvement and education, this initiative supports management of all land within the geographical spread of Vidya Knowledge Park in a manner that sustains natural resources and that will in turn contribute to economic and community stability within India to start with and then will be taken to the farfetched corners of Global fraternity.

Mission Statement
The Green Force has been established to improve the quality of life in the entire Global scenario by setting examples in protecting and promoting public health and enhancing air quality.

Goals
• To bring together as many individuals and groups with a stake in air quality in the entire Global region as possible to work  together in an open    and collaborative manner.
• To document current levels of air quality and the state of public health in the Global region.
• To inform and educate the members of the coalition, and then the public-at-large, about the current and projected future air quality in the    Global region and its relationship to the public health of the entire Globe. 
• To identify, explore, and recommend specific actions that Government and local stakeholders might take to reduce risks  in the    entire Global    region associated current or expected air quality; and,
• To recommend monitoring strategies, if appropriate to provide continuous information about the changing nature of air quality and public    health in the entire globe.
• To improve the overall image of the Globe through the actions above.

In achieving excellence in teaching and research, Vidya Knowledge Park under Green Force initiative aims to manage its activities, buildings and estates to promote environmental sustainability, to conserve and enhance natural resources and to prevent environmental pollution to bring about a continual improvement in its environmental performance.

VKP intends to comply fully with environmental legislation and officially approved codes of practice, and will make continued efforts:
• To promote sound environmental management policies and practices in the work of all Faculties, Departments, and other institutions;
• To increase awareness of environmental responsibilities amongst staff and students;
• To work with other agencies locally, nationally, and internationally to promote appropriate environmental policies;
• To implement policies and procedures that contributes to a reduction in the knowledge park's carbon footprint;
• To minimize waste and pollution, and to operate effective waste management procedures;
• To reduce the consumption of fossil fuels;
• To conserve water resources;
• To promote a purchasing policy which will give preference, as far as practicable, to those products and services which cause the least    harm to the environment;
• To avoid use, wherever possible, of environmentally damaging substances, materials, and processes;
• To maintain the grounds and buildings of the Vidya estate in an environmentally sensitive way;
• To have regard to environmental factors as far as practicable in respect of the growth of Vidya Knowledge Park and the   integration of new   developments into the local environment;
• To encourage public modes of transport by staff and students which minimize the environmental impact.
