At Vidya Global School Community Service is an essential component of our education programme. Children must be made aware of the pain and suffering in the world around them and develop a spirit of social responsibility from a young age. To sensitize them to the needs of the less privileged people in the society many awareness activities are organized in and out of school.

Visits to orphanages and old age homes.
Children visited Prem Nivas an orphanage run by the Missionaries of Charity and distributed medicine’s clothes and toys to the children and spent some time talking to them.

Awareness for less privileged children. 
Children empathize with the laborer’s children in the Vidya Global School campus and from time to time organize interactive sessions with them regarding cleanliness and hygiene and also distribute soap, tooth paste and other essential things.

Health week is also celebrated as part of community service.
Social service activities are organized round the year on different occasions and celebrations.
